GoHighLevel Pricing Explained: Plans, Annual Billing, and What Setup Really Costs
Three plans, one rename that confuses everyone, usage billed on top, and a setup fee that is not the same thing as the monthly price. All of it, in one place.
The Three Plans, as of November 2026
Prices below are GoHighLevel's public plan prices. They can change, so check gohighlevel.com before you buy. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Who it fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $97about $81 / month on annual billing | $970 / year | For a single business getting started. Up to 3 sub-accounts. |
| Unlimited | $297about $248 / month on annual billing | $2,970 / year | For businesses with several locations or brands. Unlimited sub-accounts. |
| Founder | $497about $414 / month on annual billing | $4,970 / year | Formerly Agency Pro (and before that SaaS Pro). The only plan with SaaS mode, for reselling GoHighLevel. |
Annual billing works out to roughly two months free: $970, $2,970, and $4,970 a year. If you are sure you will stay, annual is the cheaper route. If you are not sure yet, pay monthly for a few months and switch later. There is no prize for locking in early on a tool you have not tested.
Founder, Formerly Agency Pro, Formerly SaaS Pro
The top plan was renamed to Founder in October 2026, announced at GoHighLevel's LevelUp event. Before that it was Agency Pro, and before that SaaS Pro. The price did not change with the rename. It is still $497 a month, or $4,970 a year.
This matters because the official pages are mid-transition on the name. You will still find Agency Pro and SaaS Pro on GoHighLevel pages, help articles, and third-party guides. They are the same plan. If a guide quotes $497 a month and calls it SaaS Pro, it is not a different tier. It is an older name for Founder.
What the Monthly Price Does Not Cover
SMS, calls, and email sending are billed separately, on top of the plan. The plan pays for the software and the sub-accounts. The messages you send are metered. A business that texts every lead three times will pay more in usage than a business that sends one reminder per booking, and that is by design.
Ask for the usage rates before you commit to a heavy texting workflow, and keep an eye on the bill in the first month. Usage surprises are one of the most common complaints from new GoHighLevel users, and they are almost always avoidable with a quick estimate up front.
AI Employee: the Add-On With Its Own Price
GoHighLevel's AI features, the voice agent that answers missed calls, the conversation AI that replies to texts and chats, and the reviews and content tools, are sold as AI Employee. The plans are priced per sub-account: Growth at $50 a month per sub-account, and Unlimited at $97 a month per sub-account.
A lower Starter tier for AI Employee, at $20, was announced at LevelUp 2026. Details were still emerging when this was written, so check GoHighLevel's own AI pricing page for the current state of that tier before you budget around it.
The practical point: AI is not bundled into the $97, $297, or $497 plan price. If you want the voice agent answering your missed calls, budget the AI Employee plan on top, per location.
Setup $900 One-Time Is Not the Monthly Price
Software, paid to GoHighLevel
- ▸$97, $297, or $497 a month, or $970, $2,970, or $4,970 a year
- ▸14-day free trial, then the subscription starts
- ▸SMS, email, and call usage billed separately
- ▸AI Employee $50 or $97 a month per sub-account, if you add it
Setup, paid once for the build
- ▸GoHighLevel setup $900 one-time: account, pipeline, follow-up, calendar, landing page
- ▸CRM automation from $1,500: the full system, multiple pipelines and sequences
- ▸Custom builds scoped separately, including migration
- ▸30 days of post-launch support on Setup and Automation
The confusion is understandable, because both numbers get called “the cost of GoHighLevel”. They are two different bills. One keeps the software switched on. The other pays someone to build the system inside it so it actually books appointments. Most projects take 2 to 6 weeks. For the full breakdown of what the setup fee covers, see the GoHighLevel hub page.
GoHighLevel Pricing Questions
Starter is $97 a month, Unlimited is $297 a month, and Founder is $497 a month, paid monthly. Annual billing brings the effective monthly cost to about $81, $248, and $414 a month. A 14-day free trial is available. Prices are as of November 2026, so check gohighlevel.com for the latest before you buy.
Founder is the top GoHighLevel plan, renamed in October 2026. It was formerly Agency Pro, and before that SaaS Pro. The price is still $497 a month. It is the only plan that supports SaaS mode, reselling GoHighLevel to your own clients, and it adds Founder-only features. Many official pages are still mid-transition on the name, so you will see Agency Pro and SaaS Pro on older pages.
No. The monthly price pays for the software. Setup is separate, and it is a one-time fee. My setup is $900 one-time, and CRM automation starts at $1,500. GoHighLevel itself also offers an optional paid setup. Do not confuse the two numbers: one is a monthly subscription, the other is a one-off build fee.
Yes. Usage is billed separately on top of the plan price. SMS, calls, and email sending all carry usage charges, and AI features are either pay-per-use or on an AI Employee plan. Work out your expected message volume before you pick a plan, because a cheap plan with heavy usage can cost more than the next plan up.
Most single businesses start on Starter at $97 a month, which covers up to 3 sub-accounts. If you run several locations or brands, or you want to resell, look at Unlimited or Founder. If you are not sure, start on the trial, and I can advise on the plan as part of a setup call.
