GoHighLevel Setup Cost: $900 Here, $1,490–$5,500 Elsewhere

The honest answer to what GoHighLevel setup costs, with the market prices named, the sources given, and the scope differences stated plainly. Published prices, November 2026.

$900 One-Time for a Foundation Setup

A foundation GoHighLevel setup here costs $900, one-time. That covers the account and sub-account, one pipeline, a lead capture form, one SMS and email follow-up sequence, calendar setup and appointment booking, a basic funnel or landing page, testing, handover documentation and a walkthrough, and 30 days of post-launch support.

A full CRM automation build starts at $1,500, for multiple pipelines, longer nurture sequences, lead routing and integrations. Custom builds, migrations, and audit and fix work are quoted separately.

None of those prices include the GoHighLevel software itself. That is paid separately to GoHighLevel, and it is the part most people confuse with setup cost. See the platform prices below.

Upwork freelancers

Setup/cleanup $300–$1,200; funnel + automation $1,000–$4,000

Marketplace rates, so scope and quality vary by freelancer. The low end is usually a cleanup or a basic setup, not a full build with testing and handover. Agency systems on Upwork run $3,000–$10,000.

HighLevel (the platform itself)

Advanced Account Setup $1,000 one-time

HighLevel's own done-with-you setup, offered alongside the software. A useful benchmark: even the platform charges $1,000 for a guided setup.

A note on the low end: Upwork setup and cleanup work starts around $300, and HireGHLPro starts at $497. Those are real prices for real work, and for a very small job they can be the right choice. What they usually do not include is a full build with testing, documentation, a walkthrough, and 30 days of support. That is the difference to check before you compare $497 with $900.

Two Different Costs. Do Not Mix Them Up.

Setup cost is a one-time fee you pay to have the account built, tested and handed over. Software cost is what you pay GoHighLevel every month for the platform itself. You need both, and they go to different people.

GoHighLevel software, paid separately to GoHighLevel: Starter $97 a month, Unlimited $297 a month, Founder $497 a month (renamed in October 2026, formerly Agency Pro / SaaS Pro). Annual billing works out to $970, $2,970 and $4,970 a year. There is a 14-day free trial. SMS, email and call usage is billed separately by GoHighLevel, on top of the plan.

What to ask before you pay anyone

  • ▸What exactly is included, in writing: pipelines, workflows, integrations, pages?
  • ▸Is the build tested with real test leads and bookings before launch?
  • ▸What support comes after launch, and for how long?
  • ▸Do you get documentation and a walkthrough, or just the login?
  • ▸Is the price fixed, or is it an estimate that can grow?

Why One Setup Costs $900 and Another Costs $5,500

The number of pipelines and workflows is the biggest factor. One pipeline with one follow-up sequence is a small job. Five pipelines, twenty workflows, and integrations with Stripe, a website and a booking tool is a large one.

The second factor is who does the work. A freelancer on a marketplace charges less than a premium agency with a team, a guarantee and a name. Both can do good work. The agency price usually buys more process: a project manager, a testing routine, and someone to call when it breaks.

The third factor is what happens after launch. A setup with no support is cheaper than one with 30 days of fixes and tweaks included. Ask about that before you decide a price is high or low. The cheapest setup is not cheap if you pay someone else to fix it a month later, which is what the fix and rescue page exists for.

GoHighLevel Cost Questions, Answered

It depends on scope. This site charges $900 one-time for a foundation setup. Published market prices in November 2026 run from $497 at HireGHLPro and $300–$1,200 for basic setup on Upwork, through $1,497 flat at GHLStack and $1,490–$5,500 at The GoHighLevel Experts, to $1,000 for HighLevel's own Advanced Account Setup. Full funnel and automation builds run $1,000–$4,000 on Upwork. The software itself is paid separately to GoHighLevel.

Scope, mostly. The $900 setup is a foundation: one pipeline, one follow-up sequence, one calendar, one basic page, tested and handed over. The higher prices cover bigger builds: multiple pipelines, longer automation, more integrations, more locations, or a larger team. A $5,500 build is not a $900 build with a bigger number on it. It is a different job.

Not necessarily, but the scope is what matters, not the price alone. A $300 setup that imports a template with no testing is not the same as a $900 setup that is built around your sales process and tested before launch. Ask what is included, what is tested, and what support comes after launch, and compare that, not just the headline price.

Paid separately to GoHighLevel: Starter $97 a month, Unlimited $297 a month, or Founder $497 a month (renamed in October 2026, formerly Agency Pro / SaaS Pro). Annual billing works out to $970, $2,970 and $4,970 a year. There is a 14-day free trial, and SMS, email and call usage is billed separately.

Account and sub-account setup, one pipeline with stages, tags and custom fields, a lead capture form, one SMS plus email follow-up sequence, calendar setup and appointment booking, a basic funnel or landing page, testing, handover documentation and a walkthrough session, and 30 days of post-launch support for bug fixes and small tweaks.

CRM automation from $1,500, for multiple pipelines, longer nurture sequences, lead routing and integrations. Migration from another CRM, audit and fix work, and custom builds are all quoted separately. GoHighLevel software and SMS, email and call usage are paid separately to GoHighLevel.
